Senior Real Estate Solicitor – Manchester (Quasi-Inhouse Role)

We are representing a prestigious law firm looking to recruit a Senior Real Estate Solicitor to join their established team. This is a different quasi-inhouse opportunity for a firm with a great culture and a less pressurised environment than traditional private practice. This firm specialises in investment and asset management, working with a range of high-profile clients, including private equity investors, local authorities, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. They manage a portfolio of assets worth over £1.5bn and provide high-level legal services with a focus on business space sector work.

Location: Manchester

Role Overview:
As a Senior Real Estate Solicitor, you will manage a high-value caseload across a range of commercial property matters, including:
Complex lease negotiations and renewals
Acquisitions and disposals of various properties, including land and multi-let shopping centres
Portfolio management (rent reviews, licenses to assign/sublet)
Providing strategic and ad-hoc property management advice
Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors
Key Requirements:
At least 7 years' PQE in commercial property law with a focus on asset management
Significant experience in landlord and tenant matters
Proven track record in managing and developing institutional client relationships
Ability to advise clients on investment strategy development and fulfilment
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Commercial approach to problem-solving and managing competing priorities
Leadership experience and the ability to manage key deadlines
