Senior Associate – Real Estate Disputes – Manchester

We are working with a leading law firm in Manchester, looking to expand its highly regarded Real Estate Disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Associate to join a dynamic team known for handling a wide range of complex property disputes, offering significant career growth and development.

The firm offers a collaborative, forward-thinking culture, providing an ideal environment for someone with 6+ years of PQE to join a well-established practice that prides itself on delivering high-quality legal services to a diverse range of clients.

The Role In this role, you will manage a varied caseload of real estate disputes, advising clients on a broad spectrum of property issues including landlord and tenant disputes, boundary disputes, rights of light, and property insolvency. You will work with a diverse client base, including institutional property funds, developers, tenant occupiers, and energy companies, across both commercial and residential property.

You will collaborate closely with partners and senior team members, gaining significant exposure to high-profile clients and the opportunity to develop a well-rounded skill set. The role offers opportunities for business development and client relationship management, with a strong focus on innovation and commercial acumen.

What We’re Looking For We are seeking a qualified solicitor with at least 6 years PQE in real estate disputes. You should have a strong track record in property litigation, with excellent written and oral communication skills. A genuine interest in property disputes and a commercial mindset are key to succeeding in this role.

This is a client-facing position, so the ability to manage relationships, work under pressure, and meet deadlines is essential. We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, with a proactive approach to both team work and business development.
