Professional Indemnity (Construction) – Senior Associate/Junior Partner

We are working on a unique opportunity for an experienced professional indemnity solicitor to join a global firm, in their Manchester office. This is a key role in the team, so there is potential to go into the team as Partner for the right candidate, with huge further career development prospects as the team has an ambitious future growth plan.

This professional indemnity team is ranked highly in the North West and nationally. The team provides expert advice to clients across a range of professional disciplines including legal, finance, technology, cyber and construction. The team manages claims of varying size and complexity, with claims ranging in size up to £multi-million disputes.

The team is now looking to recruit an experienced hire to join the team in Manchester. This may be an ambitious Senior Associate looking to progress, or a Legal Director/Partner looking for a team with growth potential. The key is construction expertise – the gap currently in the team is in construction, and with plenty of quality work to tap into there is an exceptional opportunity to be the specialist ‘go to’ in the team.

As well as being confident in construction work technically, you should have exceptional client service standards and be looking to take a lead role in the team with key clients. The chosen candidate will also be a keen people manager, with a willingness to share knowledge and support more junior members of the team.

This is a close and supportive team that can offer excellent quality work and career opportunities – you may either enter as a Senior Associate, or Partner for the right candidate ready to take on that position.
