Assistant Conveyancer

A leading property developer in Yorkshire is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Conveyancer to join its dynamic legal team.

You might have experience in conveyancing already, or might be a law graduate with a good work ethic, who will get stuck in and work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will support experienced conveyancers in a variety of tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with plot sales, from reservation to completion
• Preparing legal documentation and conducting title checks
• Handling post-completion matters, such as SDLT returns and Land Registration
• Supporting with lease variations, reversion sales, and retention recovery
• Conducting electronic identity checks and responding to client inquiries
• Utilising the firm’s case management system

Requirements:

• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A keen interest in property law and conveyancing
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills
